HotCalc Business Simulator is a simulation program set in the hospitality industry. The level of difficulty can be adjusted and the program is used as part of the curriculum at secondary schools and higher education in areas such as economy and management, and is also used in the education of people engaged in the event industry. The program is entirely computer based and reflects the market reactions to the decisions of six companies, competing for the clients/customers on a closely defined market during a limited period of two (fictional) years.

HotCalc is delivered on a DVD that also includes recorded lectures in business economics, supported by animated PowerPoint slides. The combination constitutes a complete course in the fundamentals of Business Administration and is the ideal tool for distance courses for working adults as well as for on campus studies.
